Kansas Coalition-Autism: Marketing Materials

An independent group of parents, service providers and other professionals who are dedicated to advocating for legislation to support the autism community in Kansas. 

Direct Mailer Design

We leveraged the four colored squares in the logo to create four separate 4x6 postcards to promote how passing "Kate's Law" and provide insurance coverage for families with children on the autism spectrum, would save children, families, schools & Kansas.

The 6x9 postcard was mailed out to encourage voters to support the Law. The files were sent electronically and the direct mailers were printed and distributed in Kansas.

Results:

With tremendous efforts Michael Wasmer, DVM, and the local autism community, Governor Parkinson signed HB 2160 into law, making Kansas the 18th state to enact legislation requiring health insurance to cover the diagnosis and treatment of autism.
