Logo Development
Named after the two owners, M&R Floors came to us with a logo that like many companies and organizations, was one that didn't adequately portray its essence or how it wanted to be perceived by its target audience of homebuilders and consumers looking to remodel.
Our logo solution for M&R Floors required a slightly different approach than usual. While we started out sketching concepts like we normally do, we determined that a flat color wasn't going to convey the tactile nature of ceramic tile and other substrates.
Instead, we had individual tile squares photographed and dropped them into the desired "m" composition. The contrast of tiles also includes a lowercase "r" to round out the name.
This logo works on a white background as well as a black background as shown in the brochure and trade show materials.
