Narcissus Salon
A full-service salon located in Catonsville, Maryland.

Audience
Former Bloomsbury House Salon customers and prospective Narcissus Salon customers living in Catonsville and surrounding areas.

Marketing/Business Objective
Generate brand awareness to Baltimore Magazine readers and position Narcissus as a worthy competitor to the larger, local salons.

Creative Strategy
Prior to contacting us, the client had used another resource to create their ads. They shared with us the things they liked about them and the things they didn't. We asked them what they wanted to convey to readers and they said, "That we can do great color as well as cuts." From there we developed a simple yet effective ad that visually represents various hair cuts and color interspersed with short phrases that support the salon's tagline. The phrases state, "Love Your Cut, Love Your Color, Love Your Image." Typography and color are leveraged from their pre-existing logo, which we designed two years prior.
